This is so good.  Happy.  Inspired by Zoe&#8217;s Kitchen and a combination of internet recipes and sites&#8230; here&#8217;s our version.  MMMMMmmmm good.<\/p>\n<p>TIME Takes time.  A lot.  Like 2.5 hours.  An hour unattended&#8230; but the rest pretty attended.  So.  Plan on active cooking. <\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>4 cans great northern beans drained (not rinsed)<br \/>\n4 cloves garlic<br \/>\n1 onion, diced<br \/>\n1-2 sprigs fresh rosemary (light if using dried)<br \/>\n2 tbsp olive oil<br \/>\nsalt and pepper to taste<br \/>\nveggie broth, about 1.75 cups<\/p>\n<p>Instructions:<\/p>\n<p>In a Dutch Oven, Saut\u00e9 onion with 1\/2 tsp salt and 2 tbsp oil, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook about 1 minute. Add beans,  stock, rosemary. Cook on high &#8211; stirring constantly &#8211; until beans start to bubble. Reduce heat and simmer covered 45 minutes to an hour. Watch it closely &#8211; and stir frequently! Add salt and pepper.<\/p>\n<p>Transfer to an oven-safe casserole and bake at 300 degrees for about an hour. Enjoy with chips, pitas, Quinoa, brown rice, or just eat them with a spoon!
