hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Pretty simple, really.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Combine all of the ingredients EXCEPT for the second Nori use, the cornstarch or arrowroot, and the tofu &#8230; in a vitamix. And blend like hell for 90 seconds or more. You don&#8217;t want any little bits left&#8230; and if it actually gets warm, if you are using fresh beets, it will help them process.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cut the tofu by cutting in half, then cutting &#8220;S&#8221; shapes like a salmon filet.\u00a0<br \/>On top of the curvy part, slice about half way down in each direction, will help create flakiness in the finished product. Be careful not to cut too deep or the filets will cut in pieces.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Put the tofu, sliced side down, in a glass dish. Cover with the marinade.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Wait at least 2 hours, more is better. Might want to flip them, but not really necessary.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When it&#8217;s time&#8230; take each tofu piece out and let it drip over the marinade&#8230; letting most of the wet marinade fall away. Then take one strip of nori&#8230; about the same size&#8230; and dredge it in the marinade, then attach it to the flat (not cut) side of the tofu. Carefully to hold that all together, dredge that in Corn Starch or Arrowroot.. .then place in air fryer.
